General Manager
Summary:
The candidate should be extremely organized, self-reliant, initiative-taking, and who pay attention to detail. Moreso, the candidate must be a consummate team player within a small group. We will empower this individual to grow, to take charge, and to make an impact on our industry. This position reports directly to the Vice President and supplies administrative support to the project management team.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related experience, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred, will consider experience in lieu of degree.
- Proficiency required in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet daily/weekly/monthly deadlines.
- The ability to oversee multiple tasks with minimum supervision is essential.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with vendors, subcontractors, engineers, and owners.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and support multiple employees’ administrative needs with minimum supervision is essential.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a physical and drug screening.
Duties:
- Collect, review, and process daily mail.
- Collect, review, and process weekly field reports.
- Coordinate weekly manager meetings.
- Request and file project lien waivers.
- Process vendor and subcontractor invoices.
- Acquire and file daily digital photos.
- Acquire and distribute project reports.
- Acquire and distribute weekly payroll.
- Acquire and distribute documents and correspondence, such as bid documents, subcontract agreements, lien waivers, etc.
- Coordinate and assist with contract close-out requirements.
