Coordination Manager

Summary:

The candidate facilitates the coordination of multiple utility projects. The candidate must be a consummate team player with an eye for attention to detail and a willingness to learn new tasks quickly. We will empower you to grow, take charge, and to make an impact in our industry.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of related experience, in construction management, or related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management preferred, will consider experience in lieu of degree.
  • Excellent computer skills (must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, a plus
  • Proficiency in Plan Swift or Agtek, a plus
  • Must be extremely organized, self-reliant, proactive, and attention to detail.
  • Must be a team player within a small group.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet daily/weekly/monthly deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, a plus
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a physical and drug screening.

Duties:

  • Point of contact for scheduling the delivery of all material and supplies for each project
  • Provide clerical support for project managers, including assisting in setting up and maintaining job starts, and creating/maintaining master filing systems.
  • Act as a liaison between Project Managers, Field Personnel, and/or Vendors/Subcontractors
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information including assisting with project schedules.
